We believe in God the Father, Creator of the earth, heavens and the universe. His attributes are displayed throughout all of creation, man being the glory of His creation, fashioned in His image and likeness.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus Christ is the expressed image of the living God. In Jesus Christ all things were created through Him, for Him, and by Him. Mankind can only be redeemed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who is the Savior of the world and the Head of the Church.
We believe the Holy Spirit draws mankind to repentance by putting their faith in Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit gives the believer the sustaining power to live a victorious life, free from the bondage of sin. Also, the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation; He secures or future home in heaven, reigning and ruling with Jesus Christ. Moreover, we believe the Holy Spirit empowers the believer by manifesting the gifts that He gives in order to operate in the fulness of God.
We believe that God is manifested in three persons, who are known as the Trinity: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit. each one of these entities is separate--functioning as one body (1 John 5:7).
The Holy Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by holy men as it is written in 2 Peter 1:21. Furthermore, we believe everything that has been written in the Bible is true, and the prophecies that are mentioned will come to pass according to Matthew 5:18.
The Fallen Nature of Man
We believe that the first man, named Adam, and the first woman, named Eve, were created by God in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were made perfect until Adam disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit given to him by his wife, Eve. As a result of Adam and Eve's actions, sin entered into the world and caused them to be separated from God. Moreover, Adam's disobedience caused all those born into the world to take on a sinful nature according to Romans 5:12.
We believe that salvation can only be obtained by believing in your heart and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior according to Romans 10:9-10.
We believe that God holds every Christian accountable for what he or she receives from Him and that he or she is called to manage it according to Luke 12:42-47.
Financial Support of the Lord's Church
According to God's Word, we believe that every Christian give according to what God places upon their heart in the support of the advancement of God's Kingdom (i.e. Church) (1 Corinthians 16:2a; Deuteronomy 16:17).
